What started as a passion for brewing bold, modern beers has grown into something bigger. After years of brewing, experimenting and sharing our beers across Europe, we've opened the doors to our own taproom in Groningen. A place where everything comes together: the beer, the food, the people and the energy of the city we call home.

We pour what we brew and more

Our pub features 16 taps, with an ever-rotating selection of Folkingebrew releases, small batch exclusives and guest beers from breweries we admire. Expect hazy IPA's, bold DIPA's, smooth lagers and the unexpected. Always fresh. We also offer a fine selection of bottles from other breweries we love.

Our brewery

Right behind the bar, you'll find our small-scale brewhouse. This is where we experiment, refine recipes and brew exclusive beers you can only taste at The Pub or select festivals. It's beer brewed for the moment: fresh, direct and just meters from your glass.

Craft meets Kitchen

Our kitchen follows the same mindset as our brewing: bold, yet balanced.
The menu is built to pair with what's on tap. Expect sharable plates, juicy burgers and Neapolitan pizzas. Just good food made for beer!

To reach The Pub from Hoofdstation Groningen, take a bus to the Pijpstraat stop. From there, it's just a one-minute walk to our pub.

Several frequently running bus lines serve the Pijpstraat stop, including lines 1, 2, 10, 11 and 171.

Car

The best parking option is Q-Park Boterdiep. The address is Boterdiep 45, 9712 LL Groningen. It's a spacious underground parking garage that's open 24/7 and only a 2-minute walk from our front door.
